Tamilnadu Chief Minister stated that Indian Central Government did not take sufficient actions against the Sri Lankan Tamil issues. Such statement was given by him, regarding the human chain protest held yesterday.
Tamilnadu Congress party did not participate in this human chain protest, establishes that they do not have any concern towards the Sri Lankan Tamils was stated by him. Meanwhile, a hunger strike protest would be held by the Tamil film world on the 1st against the sufferings of the Sri Lankan Tamils, was stated.Arrested those burnt Karunanidhi s effigies! Tamilnadu news stated that 6 persons involved in burning Karunanidhi s effigy was arrested. As protest against the arrest of Marumalarchi Diravida Munnetra Kazhagam General Secretary Y.Gobalasamy, effigy of Tamilnadu Chief Minister, was attempted to burn by some, were arrested. Meanwhile, more persons, involved in attempting for such action too was arrested.An attempt was made by the Viduthalai Siruththaigal Party Members to burn the effigy of Anna Diravida Kazhagam General Secretary Jayalalitha Jayaram Viduthalai Siruthaigal Party members too were arrested.Jayalalitha Jeyaram stated that, Viduthalai Siruththaigal Party leader Thol Thirumalawan should be arrested as he spoke in support of Tamil Ezham Liberation tigers, hence as a protest to this statement, attempts were made to burn the effigy of Jayalitha Jayaram, but such persons were arrested was stated by sources
