Ceylon Electricity Board Security Consultant Major General M.R.W.D.Soysa stated that, the negligence of the air force, is the reason for the damages.
He further pointed out the indifferent attitude of the air forces; which lead the attack of the Tamil Liberation tigers at the Kalanitissa power plant. Such comments were given by him at a press briefing held in regard to the liberation tigers attack. Only the forces have the ability to counter attack the air raids by the tigers but due to improper plan for the air protection, massive damage occurred, was stated by D.Soysa
